Japanese Kani Salad

Kani Salad


Kani salad recipe from this site - 

INGREDIENT:
3 pcs. crab meat (kani)
1 pc. big tomato
1 pc. tagalog pipino
1 pc. ripe mango
2 cups lettuce
1 tbsp tobiko - very expensive so i did not use it.
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup japanese mayonaise
salt
sugar
PROCEDURE:
1. Hugasan ang lahat ng gulay. Kumuha ng 3 dahon ng lettuce at pira-pirasuhin ito ng katamtamang laki
gamit ang inyong kamay.
2. Kumuha ng 2 dahon ng cabbage at irolyo ito at saka hiwaiin ng maninipis.
3. Ibabad sa tubig na may yelo ang hiniwang lettuce at cabbage.
4. Hiwain ang kamatis ng cubes at alisan ng buto.
5. Magbalat ng mangga at kumuha ng isang pisngi at hiwain ito ng cubes.
6. Balatan ang pipino at hiwain ito na parang match-stick. (1/2 cup)
7. Himayin o paghiwa-hiwalayin ang crab stick.
8. Alisin na sa pagkababad ang lettuce at cabbage at patuluin, siguraduhing wala n itong tubig n natira.
-Ilagay sa isang malaking salad bowl. Isama o alagay na rin ang ibang hiniwang sangkap.
-Isama na rin ang crab meat at tobiko
-Isunod n ang mayonaise at haluin ito ng dahan dahan para di magtubig.
-Timplahan na ng asin at asukal.
Note:
-Pwede kayong gumawa ng extra dressing combining japanese mayonaise and wasabe.
-Pwede nyo rin itong ibalot sa nori wrapper (japanese seaweeds)

Note: If you have allergies to seafood please be careful. I am allergic to shrimps and crabs but never imagined by just touching/making a salad would result to this...
Eeeewwww! Note to myself not to touch crabsticks again! Weird! Heehee!
